SOUTH RIVER CAFE NOTES -- Our South River Cafe continues to serve hot, nutritious meals to our South River students and staff each day. Please understand that if an item that was pre-ordered does not get shipped to our kitchen, then our Cafe Team will need to make a substitute. Here are a few other notes for the coming week:
-- Chicken Chunks will replace Popcorn Chicken on Monday's menu (tomorrow);
-- Students in Grades 3, 4 & 5 are eligible to purchase additional food items, such as a second entree or side, packaged chips ($1.50) and cookies (50 cents, when available).
-- Beginning this Friday (9/12/25) students in Grades 3, 4 & 5 will be able to purchase one of several ice cream varieties for $1.25.
-- For purchasing extra items and ice cream, students will need to have pre-paid money on their lunch accounts to be able to make a purchase. Money sent in for students should be turned in at the beginning of the day upon arrival -- so that Ms. Tina can update students' meal accounts with the added amount.
