The Madee Project supports families in Augusta, Rockingham and neighboring areas who are struggling to support their children who are fighting cancer. Mrs. Campbell is the organizer of the Madee project. She is a retired Kindergarten teacher, and her passion is now helping other families whose children struggle to overcome cancer. Mrs. Campbell's daughter Madee was diagnosed with cancer when she was 20 years old and in collage. Madee passed away after a tough two year battle. This tremendous local outreach project has lived on for many years in Madee's name.
Our South River Kindness Week Coin Drive & Outreach Project for the coming week will support the Madee Project. Rangers are encouraged to bring in their Coins For Kindness. All money will be presented to Mrs. Campbell after the week, supporting the Madee Project's work of supporting local families in need.
